Kielce, Poland, August 29, 2025 – Embraer announced its first participation at MSPO 2025, Poland’s premier international defense fair, taking place from September 2 to 5 in Kielce.
In Hall 1 (Booth E18), the company will showcase the KC-390 Millennium, a state-of-the-art multi-mission aircraft, as part of its strategy to expand and strengthen partnerships in Europe.
“We are excited to participate in MSPO for the first time. This renowned event represents a valuable opportunity to strengthen the partnership and cooperation ties that connect us with Poland. We consider Poland a nation with a rich and distinct aerospace tradition, as well as an important NATO member,” said Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security.
The participation reinforces Embraer’s commitment to developing long-term cooperation with the Polish defense and aerospace industry, investing in strategic areas such as training, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), as well as research and development. The company has been building a robust European ecosystem around the KC-390, enhancing interoperability among NATO allies.
The KC-390 Millennium is already recognized as the tactical transport platform of choice among alliance countries, standing out for its 26-ton cargo capacity, 470-knot speed, extended range, and versatility in various missions, such as:
- troop and cargo transport and airdrop,
- medical evacuation,
- search and rescue (SAR),
- firefighting,
- humanitarian missions.
Additionally, the aircraft can operate on temporary or unpaved runways and be configured for aerial refueling (AAR), acting as a tanker or receiver.
Since entering service with the Brazilian Air Force in 2019, followed by the Portuguese Air Force in 2023 and the Hungarian Air Force in 2024, the KC-390 has demonstrated superior performance, with a 93% mission-capable rate and over 99% mission completion rate.
Currently, the aircraft has been selected by 11 Air Forces worldwide, including eight European countries and seven NATO members.
Embraer’s presence at MSPO reaffirms its strategic vision for Europe, focusing on a more integrated and resilient defense scenario.
